What can you drive with a TR1 licence?

You can drive wheeled and tracked tractors with a power output of up to 60 kW. You can qualify for this tractor category from the age of 15, either as an external candidate or by attending a course.

What can you drive with a TR2 licence?

You can drive tractors with an engine power output of 60 kW or more, wheeled tractors with a traction class above 14 kN, and tracked tractors. Training is available from the age of 17.

Can you drive a passenger car with a TR1 or TR2 tractor licence?

No. If you only have a TR1 or TR2 tractor licence, you may not drive a passenger car. To legally drive a passenger car, you must have a category B driving licence issued in accordance with the Road Traffic Rules.
